David Nemiroff, President and CEO of Harmony Healthcare Long Island
David Nemiroff is a champion for healthcare for underserved residents of Long Island. Mr. Nemiroff serves as the CEO of Harmony Healthcare, who serve more than 46,000 patients per year across Nassau County by providing whole person care in order that all patients have access to primary, specialty and social health care to achieve and maintain optimal wellness at a transparent and affordable cost. Harmony Healthcare is a partner of CARECEN, providing medical services for immigrant youth who are clients of CARECEN’s Terra Firma program.
Farrah Mozawalla, Founder & CEO of the Asian American Institute of Research and Engagement (AAIRE)
Farrah Mozawalla has been a passionate advocate for marginalized communities for over 20 years. She currently serves as the Founder and President of the Asian American Institute for Research and Engagement (AAIRE), a nonprofit organization on Long Island dedicated to addressing the needs of pan-Asian and other underrepresented groups on Long Island. AAIRE conducts academic research, gathers data, and promotes outreach, education, civic engagement, and youth programs to raise awareness and tackle the issues faced by these communities.
Betty Rodríguez, Breast cancer survivor and the Founder and CEO of Betty’s Breast Cancer Foundation Corporation
Betty Rodríguez is the Founder and CEO of Betty’s Breast Cancer Foundation, which was formed out of her personal journey with breast cancer, along with her drive to change the statistics that are against Latin women’s odds with the disease. In her foundation, and in her volunteerism around this topic, she has provided education and free mammograms and other resources to Latin women across New York City and Long Island. She is a champion survivor, a wife, a mother of three, and a grandmother of 5.
